Happy Thursday and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Krew Thursday Blog Hop! Today, the challenge is a sketch challenge. Sketch challenges really help with designing cards. Every time I use a sketch, my card seems to come together much quicker than when I am trying to create a card from scratch!

This card features the Summer Happiness Washi Tape and the Classic Greetings Hot Foil dies. If you haven’t purchased the Stampin’ Up! Hot Foiling System, you should really consider it. The foil really adds bling to all of your projects!

There are many ways to interpret a sketch. I used two different pieces of cardstock for the top and bottom of the card.

I adhered the Summer Fun Washi Tape to a piece of Basic White cardstock. I used silver foil on Strawberry Slush Two-Tone cardstock using the celebrate die.

Before adding the sentiment, I added a twisty piece of linen thread with glue dots to the card.

I stamped a sentiment from the Summer Happiness stamp set along with a lemonade stamp using Coastal Cabana ink. I colored it using Stampin’ Blends.

I finished off the front of the card by adding three Flirty Flamingo Array of Dots. I added another piece of Summer Fun Washi Tape adhered to Strawberry Slush Two-Tone cardstock and glued it to the flap of the envelope and added another lemonade stamp to the front of the envelope.
