Today’s card features the new Copper Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls and the new Stampin’ Up! Reverse Hot Foil Die that will be available on September 1st. I also used a coffee technique with a paper towel. Read on for more details!

You might not notice it at first, but the mat that has all of the leaves attached to it is a piece of paper towel! I took some left over cold, black coffee and dipped a 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ piece of paper towel in it. I laid it on waxed paper to let it dry but it took quite a while so I moved it along with my heat tool.

After it was completely dry, I used the new Stampin’ Up! Reverse Hot Foil Die to adhere a piece of copper foil. (You are definitely going to want to add the new die all of the new foil colors that will be available in September. They are stunning!) The purpose of this new die is to reuse the left over foil and create two designs from one piece of foil! I didn’t use it for this purpose, I wanted a copper textured layer for my paper towel panel.

I used Versamark and Metallic Copper Wow! embossing powder for the Happy Birthday sentiment and a set of the leaves from Nature’s Symphony. I am so glad that bundle is still available. It is great for masculine cards.

I added a messy bow using linen thread, and some Faux Bronze Pentagon embellishments that are on the Last Chance list. I decorated the envelope front and flat with the Nature’s Symphony leaves stamp using Early Espresso .

A few notes about the new system:

• Hot Foil results are best with either White Willow or Two-Tone Cardstock.  Smoother card stocks like the Two-Tone Cardstock and White Willow will achieve the best results when using the system, but you can use the regular card stocks too.
• The Hot Foil System, foil rolls and new hot foil dies and bundles will be available Friday, July 10, 2026 in the online Stampin’ Up! store.
• A FREE Hot Foil Online Class from Stampin’ Up! is included with your hot foil system purchase (a $30 value!), do not add the class separately to your cart (you’ll be charged for it if you do!).  You’ll automatically get a link to it after you purchase the Stampin’ Hot Foil System.
• The Stampin’ Hot Foil system is $160. Dies & foil are sold separately.
