Happy Thursday and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Krew Thursday Blog Hop! Today, the challenge is a sketch challenge today. I am featuring a new bundle, Poetic Petals, for my card. It is a September online exclusive.

As soon as I saw this sketch, I thought of the Poetic Petals bundle. I had been playing with ways to use the dies and had a sample of 2 dies punched out together that made a rectangle. That was just what I needed for the center of this sketch!

I started with a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of Basic Black cardstock and scored it at 5 1/2″. I layered a mat of Petal Pink and Basic White cardstock and then added a piece of Artisan Sketched Garden DSP.

I used the two Poetic Petals dies that have multiple flowers and punched them out using a 3″ x 4″ piece of Basic Black cardstock. I punched the same dies again using scraps of Petal Pink cardstock just for the flowers. I used liquid glue to adhere them on top of the Basic Black flowers. I adhered the Basic Black panel using dimensionals and then added Glossy Garden Dots to the center of all of the flowers.

I stamped the Hello sentiment from the Poetic Petals stamp set on a small Basic White rectangle (approximately 7/8″ x 2/8″) and punched a Petal Pink banner using the Three Banner Punch. I centered it on the side of the rectangle using dimensionals.

For the inside of the card I added a Petal Pink mat and then a Basic White mat along with a strip of Artisan Sketched Garden DSP at the bottom. I stamped the sentiment from the Poetic Petals stamp set using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

For the envelope, I added Artisan Sketched Garden DSP to the flap and added the Oh, Happy Day sticker from Greeting for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack that I colored using a Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend marker.
