Happy Thursday and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Krew Thursday Blog Hop! Today, the challenge is a color challenge. The colors are black, white and a color of our choice. I was very excited for this challenge because I love black and white cards. And since I wanted to use the Spooktacular DSP, I used Granny Apple Green for the third color.

To make the card, I started with a piece of 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Basic Black cardstock and scored it @ 2 1/8″ and 6 3/8″. I used the scalloped edge die from Bordered in Beauty dies to cut the middle of the strip of Basic Black cardstock.

I then added the Granny Apple Green and Basic White side panels on top of the scalloped border.

Score the Basic Black flap @ 5 1/2″ and adhere to the inside, middle of the card. Then add the Spooktacutar DSP on top of the flap.

Before adding the Basic White panels to the inside mat, stamp the spider webs, ghost and the “Boo to you” sentiment from the Oh My Fright stamp set.

Add black dots to the side and two white dots on the eyes using Adhesive Backed Bats Ghosts and Dots embellishments.

Finish off the front by adding three of the bats from the Adhesive Backed Bats Ghosts and Dots embellishments.

I stamped the cat under the hat on the front of the envelope and colored it in with Gray Granite and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends, and added a strip of black and white striped Spooktacutar DSP to the flap of the envelope.
