Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop for the month of August. The theme for this month’s hop is Fall Frenzy which was the perfect excuse to use the Fun for Fall bundle which screams Fall! If you are joining me from Mary’s blog, thanks for stopping by!

I wanted the scarecrow to pop out but I wanted more presence than just the look of dimensionsionals, so I made a fold on the bottom of the card so the fence would really pop out.

I started with piece of Basic White cardstock that was 4 1/4″ x 10 1/2″ (I cut off a half an inch so the back of the card would be shorter). I wanted it shorter so the front would lean back giving it more of an angle.

I cut a piece of Garden Green Two-Tone cardstock and a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock both with the dimmensions of 4 1/4″ x 3 1/2″.

I used several Stampin’ Blends (see below) to color the scarecrow, hay and crows.So there wasn’t a noticeable difference between the grass and the sky, I layered bales of hay.

I scored the Garden Green Two-Tone cardstock an inch from the bottom and folded it up to add a layer for the fence and scarecrow. I used double dimensionals to adhere the fold to the card. I trimmed the fences and used liquid glue to adhere them to the front fold. The scarecrow was added with dimensionals as well.

I finished off the front of the card by stamping “Hay There” on the flag and coloring it with a Golden Glow Shimmer Brush. I added three crows and three Sunset Sparkle Sequins.

On the inside of the card I added a Balmy Blue mat with a strip of Garden Green cardstock for the grass. I added another cluster of corn and a bale of hay to finish it off.
