Happy Thursday everyone! Today is my first day participating in The Happy Inkin’ Krew Thursday Blog Hop. I am so happy to join the amazing crafters that are part of this Hop!

This week’s challenge was a sketch challenge. Sketches make it so easy to start a project. This one, however, had me worried a little bit because I don’t like to intentionally make something crooked. It happens enough on its own! 😆

Since there is a sale on select Stampin’ Up! paper, I decided to feature Lovely Blossoms DSP for this card. If you would like to purchase this paper that is on sale now or see what other cardstock is on sale (there are a lot to choose from) head on over to the sale at my Stampin’ Up! store before August 31!

I used the Botanical Glow Hot Foil die to add more detail to the paper. In order to add the leaves to all three pieces of paper and have the design match, I adhered the paper before adding the foil. I was wondering if there would be a problems with 3 layers, but I only got a tiny extra mark of gold foil on the paper. And it turns out that if you wait for it to cool, you can erase the extra foil. That is something that has really helped me out when using the Stampin’ Up! Hot Foil System!

The center image is one of the images that comes with the Lovely Blossoms DSP. I wanted to add a little color to the white flower, so I colored it with the Barely Blush Shimmer Brush. If you haven’t purchased the Shimmer Brushes, I highly recommend that you get some. They are awesome to color with!

I embossed the saying on Basic Beige cardstock using gold Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder. I punched it out using the Three Banner punch. I punched an extra piece using Secret Sea Two-Tone cardstock. I cut the Secret Sea punch in half and glued it to the back of the saying to give it a border. I created a triple bow using Linen Thread, adhered it to the card with glue dots and then added the banner using Stampin Dimmensionals.

On the inside I added a Secret Sea and Basic White mat. I stamped the corner of the Basic White cardstock using Versa Mark and more gold Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder.

For the front of the envelope, I added gold foil using the Botanical Glow Hot Foil die.

And on the back of the envelope, I foiled a piece of the Lovely Blossoms DSP using the Botanical Glow die.
