Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop for the month of July. Today, I am sharing a simple fun fold card that features the new July Online Exclusives suite, Violet Dreams.

I stated with a piece of 7 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ Highland Heather cardstock and scored it at 3 1/4″ and 6 1/2″. I cut Peaceful Pine cardstock for the mats for the Violet Dreams DSP (see dimensions below). Since the small strip of DSP that I used for the back fold was mostly Peaceful Pine, I used basic white cardstock for the mat.

I used the Framed Violets dies to cut out the oval die cuts that were adhered to the back fold with dimensionals. This keeps the card closed. To open it, you bend the fold back and then the card will open.

I stamped, die cut and colored the violets that are on the front of the card with Highland Heather and Peaceful Pine Stampin’ Blends.

I added a sentiment from Exciting Times to the inside and stamped a single violet from the Framed Violets stamp set that I also colored with the Stampin’ Blends.

I added a linen thread double bow with a glue dot to the front along with three Adhesive Backed Blooms.

I added a strip of Violet Dreams DSP to the back of the envelope and stamped and colored violets for the front of the envelope.

My mom would just love this card. She loves the colors and violets are one of her favorite flowers. I think I am going to need to save this for her birthday!

A few notes about the new system:

• Hot Foil results are best with either White Willow or Two-Tone Cardstock.  Smoother card stocks like the Two-Tone Cardstock and White Willow will achieve the best results when using the system, but you can use the regular card stocks too.
• The Hot Foil System, foil rolls and new hot foil dies and bundles will be available Friday, July 10, 2026 in the online Stampin’ Up! store.
• A FREE Hot Foil Online Class from Stampin’ Up! is included with your hot foil system purchase (a $30 value!), do not add the class separately to your cart (you’ll be charged for it if you do!).  You’ll automatically get a link to it after you purchase the Stampin’ Hot Foil System.
• The Stampin’ Hot Foil system is $160. Dies & foil are sold separately.
