Happy Thursday and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Krew Thursday Blog Hop! Today, the challenge is a theme challenge and the theme is winter. I decided to use the Holly Jolly Branches bundle to create a snowy scene!

I started by scoring and folding a Basic White card base. I then cut a Misty Moonlight and a Basic White mat. I used the square die that doesn’t have a border from the Poetic Petals die set and lined it up on the Basic White cardstock so that it would be off center and ran it through the Stamp’ n Cut Emboss Machine. I cut a Window Sheet that was 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ and adhered it to the back of the Basic White mat using Tear & Tape adhesive. I did not peel the backing off!

On the Misty Moonlight mat I used Versamark to stamp the snowflakes from the Holly Jolly Branches stamp set. I used Basics Wow! White Embossing Powder and the heat tool to create the snowflakes.

I used the Holly Jolly Branches dies to cut three trees. I used Wink of Stella to make them sparkly.

After arranging the trees I glued them using liquid glue. I then used dimensionals to adhere the Basic White mat.

On Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment and cut it out using a die from Holly Jolly Branches dies. I cut out the Misty Moonlight hexagon using the smaller Nested Essentials hexagon die. I added this to the front of the card using dimensionals.

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment and two trees from the Holly Jolly Branches stamp set using Misty Moonlight ink.

Finally, on the front of the card I added five Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes.

For the front of the envelope I stamped two more trees.

And stamped a row of trees on the back of the envelope.

This is wonderful, Charlene – that embossed, snowy background just MAKES this! And those are some of my fave tree dies cuts, too. Perfect! 🙂
