Happy Thursday and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Krew Thursday Blog Hop! Today, the challenge is a color challenge. I just got the Product of the Month for October, the Shining Stars Dies, so I knew I had to create something with them.

I started by punching out a whole bunch of stars using the colors from the color challenge. I had red stars but when I added them to the card, it looked like a card for the 4th of July, so I put them aside for another card. I decided to use Secret Sea, Cloud Cover and Misty Moonlight stars.

After I had enough stars to play around with, I decided that the Starry Night Hot Foil die would go perfectly with a Celebrate card, so I plugged in my Stampin’ Hot Foil System and used Silver Stampin’ Hot Foil with a piece of Smooth Foiling Specialty Paper. I also foiled the celebrate die from the Classic Greetings Hot Foil dies with Silver Stampin’ Hot Foil on Secret Sea cardstock. After die cutting it, I trimmed off the exclamation point.

I trimmed the foiled Smooth Foiling Specialty Paper and added it to my Secret Sea card base. I used dimensionals to adhere the celebrate die cut and some of the stars. I used liquid glue for the rest of the stars.

For the inside, I die cut the second and third largest star with Secret Sea and Cloud Cover cardstock and after glueing them together, stamped the sentiment from the Banner Sayings stamp set. I added one small star of each color to the left corner.

For the front and back of the envelope, I added more stars.

It is awesome that you get so many stars with this set! See below for more information on how you can get this set for only $5 while supplies last!
